A folk-size guitar worthy of representing over 50 years of fine guitar building by GuildŽ Guitars! The GuildŽ GAD-30 was designed utilizing a body shape that is extremely popular among fingerpickers and singer-songwriters, providing great balance and an even tone. The GAD-30 has solid mahogany back and sides and a solid spruce top that features scalloped bracing, joined to the one piece mahogany neck with the traditional dovetail neck joint. The fingerboard and bridge are crafted from Indian Rosewood. The pearl dot inlayed bridge and strap pins are made from ebony, and Guild has added wood bindings, and Grover Sta-Tite tuning gears. For the best in tone and intonation, the GAD-30 features a bone nut and bone compensated saddle. The finishing touch -- classic pearl fingerboard inlays and a deluxe wooden arched case.
